Homemade Graham Cracker Recipe
For all of you that love baking, we have a homemade graham cracker recipe that actually is healthy. Anything you make yourself is usually healthier than store-bought, so let us get baking some healthy graham crackers with cinnamon.
What You Need:
- 1 cup (120g) white whole wheat flour or gluten-free* flour
- 1 ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp salt
- 3 tbsp (45mL) pure maple syrup at room temperature
- 1 tbsp + 2 ½ tsp water at room temperature
- 1 tsp melted coconut oil
Let’s Get Baking
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cinnamon, and salt. Make a well in the center. Pour in the maple syrup, water, and coconut oil (in that order!). Stir until all of the ingredients are fully incorporated. (It will take some extra effort at the end!)
Transfer the dough to a silicone baking mat and roll it to be 1/16” thick with a silicone rolling pin. Slice the dough into 1” squares using a pizza cutter or sharp knife. Prick the center of each square with a fork. Carefully separate the squares and arrange them so they aren’t touching each other
Bake the crackers at 350°F for 13-15 minutes or until crunchy. Cool completely to room temperature on the baking sheet before transferring it to an airtight container.

- Use a pizza cutter for a rectangular shape
- Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes or until edges are turning golden brown.
- Cut the prescore lines with a knife.
- Cool for 5 minutes then carefully break along the scored lines
- Allow them to completely cool
